About Me
Originally from Italy, I’ve lived in Melbourne for over a decade. I have a background in Psychology and in Australia I studied Translation at postgraduate level at Monash University. I started Artelingua because I love working with words—languages, their mechanics, usage rules, differences and similarities intrigue me to no end. I’m also a very curious person, and so the opportunity of working on new, interesting projects (and with new, interesting people) all the time is quite exciting.

Generating New Ideas. Solving Big Problems

Flexibility & Personalised service
Whether it’s chapter-by-chapter, a customised rate, a second look… no job is too small, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs and your budget, understanding that these can change along the way. When you engage my services, you get me – in person, on the phone, via email. No agency ‘wall’ between you and the person actually working with your document. You will receive the kind of one-on-one, dedicated assistance that only a small business can guarantee.
Translation
Translation is more than just changing words from one language to another, it is conveying the meaning and the tone correctly in the chosen language. Building the nuance and meaning into your document in a professional language.
I’ve lived in Australia for over 15 years now, originally from Italy and I have a Bachelor in Psychology, a MA and a PhD in Translation, and a Cert IV in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
With over a decade of experience in the field of translation, academia and language teaching, I’ve most importantly, been a migrant and an international postgraduate student myself!
So I understand what you’re going through –

Editing
Editing is the process of revising written material to improve readability and fitness, as well as ensuring that text is free of grammatical and factual errors. How do I do it?
